Who does Variations?
With Residential Building Contracts, Variations are usually agreed directly between you and the Builder.
If you want to make changes to the Contract then it is done by agreeing what needs to be changed and then agreeing on how much the Variation will add or subtract from the original Building Contract price.
It is also very important that all Variations are put in writing and with enough detail so that it is very clear on what is being changed and how it will affect the final price of the Building Project.
Calculating how much a Variation will cost and either adding or deducting the cost of those Items from Contracts, requires the skills and experience of Quantity Cost Professionals who are able to ensure that everything is done correctly.
Quantity Surveyors or Estimators are very qualified to assist with calculating the value of the Building Project Variations, which can then be approved with the Building Project Manager and Client.
If you have a Building Project that you require a Variations for, tell us what type of Building it is and we will find an appropriate Quantity Surveyors or Estimators for you.
Just fill in your details in the box, on the top right hand side of your screen.
It can save you lots of money, time and effort.
