Price Variations for Tax Depreciation Schedules

Why does the price of getting a Tax Depreciation Schedule done vary so much between Suppliers?

Why does the price of a Tax Depreciation Schedule varyLike everything … You get what you pay for! Some Tax Depreciation Schedules are not actually fully performed by a qualified Quantity Surveyor.

For example, a Quantity Surveyor may not personally visit your investment property site to inspect it, but get ‘others’ in their Company to do it and then ‘sign off’ on it later.

Tax Depreciation Schedules can also be done cheaper, just based on the sheer volume that a Company does.

Some Tax Depreciation Schedule prices are based on just the information, such as the Drawings and Specifications that you give to a Quantity Surveyor, along with a questionnaire, that they get you to fill out about your investment property. This is called ‘Self-assessment’.

Obviously ‘Self-assessment’ will lower the price considerably, but the Report will be compromised by the quality of information that you provide.

To make sure that you get the right Quantity Surveyor to do your Tax Depreciation Schedule, if you provide some details about the type of Building you have, we will find appropriate members of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) that are registered Tax Agents under the Tax Agents Services Act.

Just fill your details in the box, on the top right hand side of your screen.

It could save you time, money and worry.
